Internal correspondence - (review -- for a workplace)

From: Stuart Jones
To: Jackie Mcdonalds
CC: Floor Mats
Date: 23 April 2017
Subject: Floor mats that need replacing.

Hello sir,

Mats in our office building:
1.The entrance to the main reception area (1mats) - thick straw mat with rubber base.
2. All external exit door on the ground floor (1mats) - thin, straw, no rubber base.
3. Staff lunchroom - 1 mat between couches (under the coffee table) - thin, wood/ carpet.
4. Fire escape door on 2nd floor (1 mat) - thin, wool/carpet.

The condition is generally okay with no wear or curling up at the edges. The rubber-based straw mats don't skid when walked on but the thin carpet and straw only mats do. None of these has adhesive or velcro on the bottom to keep it in place. Also, the production room staff have stunk their mats down with packaging tape. Two staff members had a 'close call' with slipping on the mats.
