Te Puea Herangi

Back in 1883 when te puea was born her mother was the daughter of the second maori king. Te puea father was the son of an english.

After the 1860s Land wars,the Maori King had forbidden Waikato to take up arms again. In World war 1 (1914-18)

Government arrested  Tainui men for not joining up to fight

In the war and took them to a training camp at Auckland.

Dilution Experiment 

Aim
I want to investigate how to dilute a solution.

What is dilution
Something that mix with water like for example there a bottle of coke for example there's 10% in coke and 9% off water there no dilution cause there more coke the clear water.

Equipment

• 5 test tube 
• 10ml of water in one of the test tube 
• 9ml in the other test tube 
• potassium permanganate
• string rod 

Results
 it was fun when we put the potassium permanganate a  crystal in each tube it went pretty good to be honest everything went good until we spelt some.

But everything went okay with the experiment.

Conclusion

Me and my group went to get 10ml in one off the tubes and the rest 9ml we put potassium permanganate the colour at first was a dark purple colour. Then we put a little bit of the potassium permanganate in the other tubes and we stirred it and it become lighter and lighter until it's clear.but some might not come clear.

English 

Today i was watching the 3 news about the two air planes that got high jacked an crash in two the tall high  tower's.But both planes crash into two different towers that one was slightly shorter then the other tower it was a terrifying sight to watch.

The people that was in the building they were getting like a white piece's of cloth or something.they wave it out side to see if anyone could help them in the building.But no one came "that was sad that no one could come and help them".

What i saw and heard that people that was in the building were jumping out of the tall tower

All those Innocent people that was in that situation and how many people that died from that. people from the army force,police,all sort came to help even the people that had jobs or don't have job they came to help as well.

This was quite interesting talking about 11/11 and what was happening around the world.

what i thought about the story?

the story was skipping parts of the story. like for example when Maui and his bother's came across wild animals. and they attacked them. 

the story was interesting talking about maui and he's siblings going after the sun and making flax to hold the sun so the make it go slower. 

cause the were complaining that the sun was going to fast  and there crops wasn't growing .

My Holiday

I went to my uncle birthday in the holidays in Shirley it was a bumpy ride but anyways by the time we got  there. we saw food and drinks there and we saw dessert as well. when we went through the hall we saw beautiful lava on the wall.The colour was an a purple colour.there was balloons that was purple.and the chairs was sort out on the side. 

Me and my family sat at the back we had to wait for the birthday to start.people that was helping around the birthday.Already the birthday has started so how our birthday work.that my cousin that is Sam was at the front.and my uncle was in between his wife and his sister. and also his 13 grandchildren they were at the back.and the youngest Sam lead them in.with an island dance.telling them where they have to go.

After that we say a grace.Then my brother ran up there to go get a feed first. Mean while when we were eating.There was a cook island dance i saw my cousin kashaye doing the cook island dance.After that dance it was my niece's turn all 13 of them.first they started off with an traditional cook island dance.Right after that they did( Juju on that beat dance) it was so cute and funny.

After when all that's finish the other family's say a little bit of history about my uncle or comments.But it was interesting about my uncle history.

Finally it was finish so we went home and straight away i went to sleep.
